Huntington Village.
The central business district of the Township of Huntington is named Huntington Village. Although older and well developed, it is not considered an incorporated village and does not have a village form of government. However, it is considered the “heart and soul” of the town of Huntington. It is very popular with residents and tourists and is even considered the unofficial capital of the town.
The cultural and artistic personality is accentuated by the Cinema Arts Center, the Paramount, Huntington Arts Council and the Heckscher Museum of Art, where residents and visitors alike enjoy varied films, concerts, and exhibits. In addition, concerts and plays are staged at the outdoor amphitheater of Heckscher Park.
Huntington is an ideal community and boasts over 350 storefronts, which makes it an ideal shopping destination for Long Island.
