Super-Easy Marinara Sauce and My #1 Tip of What You Need to Do Before You Move
Let’s make an easy marinara sauce while I share my number one tip of what you need to do before you move!
Ingredients:
(2) 28-oz can of whole, peeled tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
handful fresh basil
salt and pepper
olive oil
Here’s How to Do It:
Hand-crush two cans of tomatoes in a bowl. Over low heat add olive oil and chopped garlic to pan. Then add your fresh tomatoes. Add salt, pepper and basil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
When your sauce is ready, boil some pasta in salted water. Add some grated parmesan cheese, and eat! So delicious, watch the recipe here!
My #1 Tip of What You Need to Do Before You Move
With so many tasks and details involved in buying a home and moving, it's easy for some important items to slip through the cracks. But there's one step you don't want to overlook - contacting your utility companies to transfer services into your name at the new address.
My #1 tip? Call your electric, gas, water, cable/internet providers at least 1-2 days prior to your closing date. Provide them with the closing details and new address, and schedule to have the accounts transferred from the previous owner's name into yours to avoid any disruption in service.
You don't want to arrive at your beautiful new home only to find the lights won't turn on or the WiFi isn't connected. Taking 15 minutes to make these calls in advance ensures a seamless transition of utilities for moving day. Keep this crucial step at the top of your pre-move checklist!
Staying on top of utility transfers eliminates headaches and allows you to simply walk into your new house and immediately make yourself at home.
